  • The RMHS40 is a modified version of the RM40 sample transporter, engineered with a lightweight, hollow shaft to optimize for vertical applications.

    It features an adjustable in-vacuum brake (Product Code: IVBR) that adds controlled friction for additional safety during transfer. The braking power / holding strength can be adjusted to accommodate varying system weights.

    While commonly employed for sample insertion in cryogenic SPMs, this manipulator's unique hollow shaft design benefits a wide range of vacuum applications.

    For added convenience, an optional TSRMBD belt drive is available. This accessory facilitates easier handling when the system height or sample transporter length makes manual manipulation challenging.
