Forks are simple tools that enable the carrying of specific sample holder types and wafers.
They usually require no mechanical actuation to grab a sample holder, instead realying on the geometric shape of the sample holder, or simply lifting an object onto static carrying arms.
Typical Applications
Ferrovac forks are available in various configurations to meet their specific application.
- Wafer Handling: Easy transportation of large wafers, up to diameters of ~300mm.
- Bulky Sample Holders: Forks are the most straight forward tools to carry bulky sample holder types, block-, or puck-style sample hodlers.
- Custom Sample Holders: We'll gladly consider a custom solution that fits your specific application.
