Glovebox Docking Solutions

  • Direct Glovebox Connection: Custom stainless steel side panel interfaces enable direct connection to gloveboxes, ensuring airtight and contamination-free sample transfer.
  • Ultra-High Vacuum Compatibility: Designed to maintain vacuum conditions down to 1E-9 mbar.
  • Cryogenic Sample Handling: Integrated liquid nitrogen cooling systems with automatic LN2 filling allow controlled cryo-preparation and transfer.
  • Automated System Control: Programmable vacuum control units, motorized sample transporters, and real-time monitoring for an streamlined and automated workflow.
  • Optimized for Sensitive Sample Workflows: Essential for cryo-loading, ultra-high vacuum sample introduction, and contamination-free material transport.
  • What is a Glovebox Extension Kit?

Glove Box Extension Kits provide a seamless interface between inert gas gloveboxes and ultra-high vacuum (UHV) or cryogenic environments, enabling precise sample preparation, handling, and transfer while maintaining environmental integrity. These systems prevent contamination, oxidation, or degradation during handling and transport, ensuring optimal conditions for sensitive materials.

Instrument Extension Kits provide a fast and comfortable way to load samples into and out of an instrument, but also provide additional functions to a standard docking stage, like full cryogenic transfers, full control over the sample environment, or additional loading access points.

    Instrument Type:

These extension kits are mounted to the side wall of a glovebox and provide a full, interruption-free transfer path from glovebox athmosphere to the ultra-high vacuum of a Ferrovac Suitcase Transfer Module.

    Cryogenic Option:

Glovebox Extension Kits with the crogenic option enable a fully cryogenic sample transfer and full control over the sample state during the entire transfer process.

    User Access Orientation

Depending on the orientation of the instrument, the access direction of the controller unit can be adapted. For glovebox extension kits, this orientation is usually the lefthand side access.
