To prevent cold welding, we strongly advise against selecting the sample receiver and screws made from the same material, as this may cause the parts to fuse together in UHV environments, making disassembly impossible.The RECUPS Drawer Style Receiver is designed to securely hold large flag-style sample plates that accommodate 1-inch wafers. These sampe plates are a bit larger than the standard Ferrovac Flag Style Sample Plates.
It features a robust, single-block construction and utilizes a reliable locking mechanism comprising four ruby spheres and a molybdenum leaf spring.
The receiver also includes a central bore for optical access from the rear, facilitating various analytical techniques.
